Manchester: Good & Bad
| Good |
Bad |
| City centre living |
Cost of living |
| No Texas rednecks |
Chavs |
| Not 40˚C in summer |
Not 20˚C in summer |
| Can understand people better |
That is a lie, real English accents (not BBC) are fucked |
| Loads of good Indian food |
No good Mexican food |
| Nice corner stores |
Everything shuts early |
| Better tasting food |
Everything sold in tiny wee bags |
| Standard shot measurements |
Pubs close at 11pm |
| Can actually talk politics |
Not nearly as fun to mock someone who can read |
| People know where New Zealand is |
They still think I’m Australian |
| People understand sarcasm |
Still don’t have any friends |

Yes, it was oddly strange to hear someone speaking English with an accent so thick I could’ve sworn it was gibberish.
And I thought LA was bad with bars closing by 2am!
well, that’s what you get for moving to manchester and not a decent city like london
At least it’s not as polluted, big, expensive, and gives you black snot!
No place in the world can suck as bad as texas.
Well, I’ve only been to Texas a couple times and only to a couple small towns there, but they sure seemed to suck a lot less than Darfur.
