Links for Web Project Managers

While the internet is chock full of information for IT project managers, there really isn’t a lot that is specific to IT project managers who specialise in web development.  I made the move from corporate IT to the wonderful world of web a year ago, and am on a constant hunt for articles and information that relate specifically to my field.  While there aren’t many I’ve found that are web-related, here are the blogs that I follow:

I get a lot of good stuff from Twitter – I have two lists that you can follow:

And of course you can always follow the #webpm tag.

Do you have any blogs or Tweeters to add to the list?  Comment below!

  1. The hashtag #pmot is ‘project managers on twitter’. It’s not specifically web pm but there are often interesting links that could well be relevant to people working in web development fields. It’s a pity Louis Testa doesn’t seem to be blogging any more (http://www.gspractices.com/) because I found his book about managing software engineers and project management of software developments really excellent.

  2. I blog about web projects over at The Project Web (http://www.theprojectweb.com) and I tweet under @clecompte.

This is a great idea. I too often have a hard time sifting through PM content to find posts concerning JUST web.

  3. I don’t blog at the moment (wish I had the time), but I’m @rockyshark on Twitter.

It’s really good to see more webpm resources starting to appear in recent times!

  5. Hey, good initiative to collect this info, isn’t easy finding stuff, as you say. Sharing my own experiences here: manageexpectation.phnd.net.

  6. Woops. I accidentally listed this on another post.

Another one for you – How to manage a team – hh

  7. Wow! This could be one particular of the most beneficial blogs We have ever arrive across on this subject. Actually Fantastic. I am also a specialist in this topic so I can understand your effort.
